"What Worries Australia?"

National Survey

You are invited to participate in a study of what worries Australians. The purpose of the study is to examine the nature, content, and frequency of worry and anxiety as experienced by Australians.

The study is being conducted by Prof Ron Rapee, Director for the Centre for Emotional Health (Department of Psychology – Macquarie University) and several members of the Centre for Emotional Health and the Sydney Morning Herald. If you decide to participate, you will be asked to answer a series of questions based on your current worries and fears. The online survey will take approximately fifteen (15) minutes to complete.

The survey is completely anonymous. You can withdraw your participation at any time, however, once your responses have been submitted there is no way to identify your data, so it cannot be removed after this point. A summary of the results of the data will be made available to you by visiting or
